Al Khalidi Hospital

We provide advanced medical care at AlKhaldi Hospital through our specialized medical team with experience and competence in the following areas.

Al Khalidi Hospital is renowned for its physicians and surgeons, personalized care, most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, and highly trained staff and nurses. In 43 years since its inception, as one of the oldest hospitals in Jordan, KHMC grew from being a maternity hospital to becoming a leading center of excellence for healthcare. Today, the medical center has 160 beds. The hospital’s ICCU includes 25 ICCU beds, which makes it one of Jordan’s largest ICCU units in the private sector, primarily because Al Khalidi is well known to handle the most advanced and complicated medical cases. Moreover, Al Khalidi Hospital has a comprehensive medical affiliation agreement with the Boston-based Lahey Hospital & Medical Center. This affiliation gives our patients access to high quality tertiary level services. KHMC has the first and only private sector comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic oncology center with a team of nationally and internationally recognized experts committed to providing the best care for more than 1200 in-patients and 5000 out-patients every year. KHMC’s affiliate, the Afia Center, complements the hospital to offer patients a complete, highly integrated advanced radiotherapy and diagnosis for all types of cancers at all stages. Additionally, KHMC has an Intensive Stroke Unit, the only specialized unit in Jordan that treats acute brain strokes. The medical center’s ambulances (079 199 0199) are also fully equipped to start diagnosis and treatment from the moment the patient is picked up. KHMC has nine advanced operating theaters including two new ones for ophthalmology, with several 24-hour services including a pharmacy, emergency room, and radiology. Al Khalidi Hospital is set up to handle the most advanced and complicated of medical cases on a 24/7 basis.
