The Department of Radiology at Al Khalidi Hospital is deeply committed to serving our patients by providing the highest quality of specialized radiological services in a compassionate, efficient, and cost effective manner. With our multidisciplinary team and state-of-the-art technology, we will maintain a consistent quality of clinical service and academic excellence in our dynamic practice of radiology. We offer a full range of diagnostic imaging techniques and interventional services. The department is linked to the whole center with PACS system through intranet and internet connections.
We offer a full range of diagnostic imaging techniques including:
A fully digital X-ray department
A multi-slice CT Scan (256iCT Brilliance). All diagnostic examinations including C.T angiogram for the whole body and CT coronary angiogram
Advanced 3 T MRI and other 1.5 T MRI
Lithotripsy Unit, Under the supervision of specialists in this field
Ultrasound with Doppler studies and 4D
Digital mammogram unit with tomosynthesis

Our interventional services include:
Diagnostic angiograms
CT and Ultrasound guided biopsies and drainages
Peripheral angioplasties and stenting Abdominal and thoracic endovascular stent graft
All kinds of embolization to treat hemorrhage, AVM and tumors with Chemo-embolization including the use of Beads or microspheres
Endovascular treatment of intracranialaneurysms and AVM by coiling or embolization
GI procedure including Bilary tree stenting
Interventional urological procedures (Nephrostomies and Double catheter insertion)
Tumor Ablation with Radiofrequency
Fibroid embolization
